With Our Magnificent Guest
Murshida Mariam Baker

Mariam Baker, mother of five and spiritual midwife, is a dedicated student of spirituality and practical mysticism, focusing on personal and planetary growth and healing. Initiated in the Inayati Chistia lineage of Sufism, she has been a student of Hazrat Inayat Khan and Murshid Samuel Lewis, and a friend of the late Pir-o-Murshid Hazrat Moineddin Jablonski. Since 1974, she has been a senior teacher and leader of the Dances of Universal Peace at Sufi Ruhaniat International.

She has worked as a specialist in religious and women's studies, giving lectures and workshops in the United States and Canada.

She was director of the Theater of Healing and is the author of "Woman as Divine, Tales of the Goddess". She currently teaches at the Mevlevi Order of America on the work of Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi and is passionate about gardening.

This event is open to all those interested in a practice that transcends cultures and borders, where the simple act of dancing and singing becomes a powerful expression of unity and coexistence, generating peace in each shared movement.

No previous experience is necessary, only the desire to live a transforming experience. It is an opportunity to step out of the comfort zone, experience a simple spiritual practice as a family, and reconnect with the inner self, exploring together the mysteries of BEING.
